In celebration of Women\u2019s History Month, Jasmeet Kaur, Head of Program Management at Clearwater, shares the women who have inspired her most:<\/strong><\/p>\n

My mother<\/strong> \u2013 she taught me one of the most important words in my life, and constantly reminded me about it:\u00a0balance<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0I work on it every day \u2013 balancing my work, family, health, social life, and my time.<\/p>\n

This leads me to the next woman,\u00a0Indra Nooyi<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 I love this quote from her:\u00a0\u201c<\/strong>At the end of the day, don\u2019t forget that you\u2019re a person, don\u2019t forget you\u2019re a mother, don\u2019t forget you\u2019re a wife, don\u2019t forget you\u2019re a daughter.<\/strong>\u201c\u00a0She showed an unbeatable determination and commitment in every role she took, while maintaining a balance with all areas of her life.<\/p>\n

Sheryl Sandberg\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 one of the lessons from her book\u00a0Lean In<\/i>\u00a0I resonate most with is \u2013this: find your path and your goal, don\u2019t measure your career and life with other people\u2019s rulers.<\/p>\n

Melinda Gates<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 there are two important lessons of life that I learned from Melinda Gates:<\/p>\n

1. Do things wholeheartedly. As she once said, \u201cI\u2019m wholehearted about whatever I do.\u201d
\nWhether in the workplace, our relationships, or our communities, we can succeed if we put every ounce of our willpower into focusing on what we want to achieve. We all will become more productive and positive individuals at the end of the day.<\/p>\n

2. Giving Back \u2013 when I think of the idea of giving back, I think of this quote from Melinda Gates: \u201cIf you are successful, it is because somewhere, sometime, someone gave you a life or an idea that started you in the right direction. Remember also that you are indebted to life until you help some less fortunate person, just as you were helped.\u201d<\/p>\n

Michelle Obama<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 she taught me to be true to yourself, value yourself, and prioritize yourself even when it means that sometimes you must let go of something essential and precious to you for the greater good, like the way she refocused her career to support her partner for the greater good of our nation.<\/p>\n
